AI Brand Visibility Report: How AI Sees Your Brand
Buyers ask AI engines what your company is and whether it is any good, and you never see the answers. Enter your domain to discover what AI says about your brand. The report asks one engine, such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, six buyer questions six times each, then writes up the story it tells, with counts.
The problem
Your brand position in AI search is written by pages you never briefed.
When a buyer asks an AI engine what your company is, the engine builds its answer from third-party pages: reviews, comparison posts, forums and directories. That answer is your AI brand positioning, and you did not write it. We call the version of your brand that lives inside AI engines your shadow reputation.
The answers are not random. Ask the same question several times and you get the same qualities, competitors and objections. What matters most is how often each one comes up, and which pages the engine cites for it. Follow a citation and you can see who wrote the claim, and whose authority the engine is borrowing to repeat it.
What is [your brand]?
The story it tells
[Your brand] is a budget option for small teams. Reviewers say setup takes weeks, and for larger companies most buyers look at Rival A instead.

What is in the report
AI brand reputation, written out and counted.
A readable story first, the numbers beside it, then a plan. Here is what an AI brand report covers.
The story, written out
A plain-language write-up of your AI brand narrative: how the engine describes what you do, who you are for, and where you sit in your category.
The qualities it assigns you
The strengths and traits the engine attaches to your brand, with a count of how many answers repeat each one.
Who it offers instead
The rivals and alternatives the engine suggests when a buyer asks for options, and how often each one appears.
What it holds against you
The objections and gaps that come up, such as a missing feature, and the share of answers that raise each one.
Your site against the answers
Which pages the engine cites, and how many of those citations land on your own domain, so you can see how much of your story comes from sources you did not write.
The moves
A short list of what to change, in order of impact.
A real run
What ChatGPT says about Wellows.
We ran the AI Brand Report on our own domain and kept the result as it came back.
We build this report, and the engine still does not recommend us outright in any of its verdicts. In more than half the answers it names a feature gap. Only a third of the pages it cites sit on our own site, so most of what shapes the answer was written by someone else. That distance between what we say and what the engine repeats is what the report is built to show you, before a buyer finds it.

How the AI brand report works
Discover what AI says about your brand: measured, not guessed.
One reply is one draw, so the report reads many. Here is how it gets from a domain to a set of counts.
Step 1: You give us a domain, an engine and a country
Pick the engine your buyers use and the country they ask from. Each report covers one engine in one country, so the result matches a real buyer’s view.
Step 2: We ask six questions, six times each
Asking every question six times gives 36 answers to read, so the report can count what repeats instead of quoting a single reply.
Step 3: Every answer is read the same way
Each answer is coded for the same things: the qualities it mentions, the competitors it names, the criticisms it raises and its verdict, along with the pages it cites.
Step 4: The numbers are computed from the coded answers
Counts and shares come from the coded answers, not from a model’s estimate, so you can trace any figure back to the answers behind it.
The six questions
Each asked six times: 36 answers per report
- What is [brand]?
- What do people say about [brand]?
- What are the pros and cons of [brand]?
- Who is [brand] for?
- What are the best alternatives to [brand]?
- Should I use [brand]?
Choosing the right tool
An AI brand checker for what AI says, not who wrote it.
Search for an AI brand checker and you get two kinds of tools. Some detect whether a piece of text was written by AI. This one checks what AI engines say about your brand, and what that does to your brand position in AI search. If you need something slightly different, start with one of these.
Want a score across many prompts?
The AI Visibility Report measures how often your brand appears across prompts. This report goes deeper on how the engine describes you.
Want to watch it change?
This report is a sample taken on the day you run it. Wellows monitoring repeats it over time so you can see the story move.
Want to dig in by hand?

Who it is for
For anyone whose category is explained by somebody else.
Why the story is worth reading
Most AI brand checkers tell you whether you were mentioned. The AI brand report tells you what the engine says once it mentions you, which rivals it sets beside you, and which pages it cites to back that up. You can see your shadow reputation, then act on it.
You suspect buyers are comparing you with the wrong products.
A competitor keeps coming up in sales calls and you cannot say why.
You rank well in search, but AI answers describe you another way.
You run an agency and need a client’s LLM brand perception on one page before the pitch.
Questions
What people ask before they run it
Enough of the method to trust the numbers, and the questions themselves in full.
What does ChatGPT say about my brand?
It depends on the question and on what it finds. Ask what your brand is and you tend to get a description; ask whether to use it and you get a verdict, often with rivals named beside you. The report asks six buyer questions six times each and writes up what comes back, with counts, so you see the pattern and not one lucky reply. Run it on your domain to read yours.
Why six questions and not one?
Buyers do not ask one thing. They ask what you are, what people say, the pros and cons, who you are for, what else exists and whether to use you. Each question pulls a different part of the story, so the report asks all six.
Why ask the same question six times?
Two replies to the same question rarely match word for word. Asking six times separates what the engine repeats from what it said once, and gives the counts something to stand on.
Does it cover every engine at once?
No. Each report covers one engine in one country. Run it again for another engine or country, and compare runs that share both before you draw conclusions.
Do I need to give you access to my site or analytics?
No. You enter a domain. The report works from what the engine says and cites, so there is nothing to connect or install.
Will my report be public?
Report pages are set not to be indexed, so search engines do not list them. Anyone with the link can open the whole report, which makes it easy to send to a colleague or a client.
